What to Expect on Your First Visit

When you enter the office, you will be greeted with a warm smile from Gerri welcoming you to the Meyer Dental Group. After the team reviews your patient forms, one of Dr. Meyer’s caring assistants will welcome you back into an operatory for your comprehensive examination. Michele or Kelly will begin the initial records by taking a series of intra-oral photos and updating necessary x-rays.

Once all your initial records are digitally placed into your patient file, Dr. Meyer will begin your examination with initially discussing any dental concerns you may be experiencing and documenting any existing restorations and areas of concerns. Then, after recording the periodontal charting, a careful and thorough oral cancer screening will be done. Finally, Dr. Meyer will discuss with you which type of cleaning would be most appropriate for your next visit with Fran our hygienist.

Based on the findings from your comprehensive examination, we will also discuss any immediate areas of concern. You will appreciate the fact that ample time is provided to answer any questions you may have for Dr. Meyer as well as to discuss your dental desires. We want your experience with us to be relaxing, enjoyable, educational, and pleasurable! We pride ourselves on providing personalized care for all our patients at Meyer Dental Group.
