Oral Cancer Screening

With our patient' overall health as the utmost in importance to all of us here at The Meyer Dental Group, we are proud to have introduced ViziLite Oral Cancer Screening into our standard of care procedures. Oral cancer is one of the most deadly cancers due to late detection. When detected at it's earliest stages, oral cancer is 90% curable.

The screening procedure is recommended to all patients over the age of 18, and should be done annually just like other types of early detection technologies, such as mammograms, pap smears, PSA screening, and others.

ViziLite is not intended to prevent oral cancer, but to detect it at it's earliest, most vulnerable stages, therefore potentially saving lives.
