The Odyssey® Diode Laser is just one more way that the Meyer Dental Group is making your visits more comfortable while increasing the level of high-quality dental care they provide to you. Dr. Meyer has had the Odyssey® Diode Laser in his office since 2005 and has seen it perform miracles for patients in improving their oral health.

The laser is used by our expertly-trained team members at cleaning appointments to de-contaminate gum pocketing infected with periodontal (gum) disease.

No other instrument available has its precise tissue sculpting ability for expert gum contouring. The Odyssey Laser® can also be used in treating patients with traditional orthodontics. If a patient has a stubborn tooth which is not erupting down into position, the laser is used to make a precise window in the gum tissue to allow for proper tooth positioning. Through monthly orthodontic visits to the office, we are able to pull that tooth down into its correct position completing your orthodontic enhanced smile (no referrals necessary)!

This advanced solution also helps to provide relief from bothersome canker sores in your mouth, with just one quick visit. With Laser dentistry, discomfort from the sore is reduced, while healing is substantially faster.

The Odyssey Laser® can also be used post-operatively of traditional orthodontic treatment. By contouring misaligned gum tissue, laser dentistry ensures a clean, uniform gum line and completes your beautiful, new smile.
